The 2009 Season of the Northeast Church Project is scheduled for 2-31 July 2009.  It will be the final season of a ten-year project. In 2009, the Concordia Team will work on the northeast and south areas of the Northeast Church Complex, proven in 2008 to be more extensive than originally anticipated. The excavation project is rigorous, requiring that volunteers be in excellent health and able to do heavy work.   Registration deadline 1 April 2009.  The links at the left provide more information.

This year's dig features one optional trip.  After the first week, team members are invited to join Dr. Schuler for a tour of Jerusalem and Bethlehem.  Day trips may also be scheduled.

The official travel agent for the Concordia team is Minnetonka Travel.  Students and new volunteers must make their travel bookings with Concordia's agent.
